Job description

For our client we are looking for Data Center Support engineer, willing to work in different shifts serving customers within an automotive factory in Nitra. The coverage is 24 hours a day, 5 days a week (Monday - Friday), in 3 different 8 hour shifts (morning, evening and night shift). • Support and pro-active management of Servers, Operating Systems, backup systems etc. • Trouble shooting of issues as well as coordination with support functions offshore • Provide support for DCH operations Data Centre locations • Coordination for vendor coordination for servers, storage etc. • Coordinate with Local and offshore teams for all operational activities • Maintaining agreed SLA levels and assuring Quality of delivery at all times • Follow service management processes (e.g. Incident, Change, Capacity, Problem etc.) • Assist in preparing all operational reports, create and maintain knowledgebase documents • Adhere to shift rotation plan and Operating model

Command of all the selected languages is required

English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Slovak - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Good presentational skills both written and oral • Experience of Customer management • Ability to Interact with team members (onshore and offshore) • Ability to provide regular reporting to stakeholders • Excellent understanding of VMware VSphere, Creation of Microsoft cluster platforms in windows 2008 and windows 2012. Working knowledge of conversed Compute infrastructure (HP CS700/ VCE Vblock) Desired Certifications in following areas • MCSA/MCSE/MCP • SUSE Certified Engineer • VMWARE Certified Professional • Converged Infrastructure
