ManpowerGroup has again topped the ranking of the largest HR companies in Slovakia, compiled annually by The Slovak Spectator in cooperation with FinStat. In addition to recruitment, in which it is the market leader, it was also ranked first in staff leasing.

Out of a total of 4 980 positions, ManpowerGroup filled 2 062 positions last year. Overall, the number of positions filled on the market by all agencies grew by 38 percent year-on-year, according to The Slovak Spectator.

The year 2021 was marked by a pandemic in corporate staffing, bringing both temporary and permanent changes to the market. People from the HORECA segment left to work in other sectors, some of them choosing not to return to their original occupation even after the measures were lifted.
Hybrid work has become a common practice for companies and many jobs now can be done exclusively remotely. These are mainly positions in IT, sales, marketing, but also in administration. Working from home allows employees to better combine work and personal life, and employers are taking this into account more than ever before.
There has been an increase in job offers and the job market can once again be characterised as a candidate market rather than an employer market.
